Details of Action: US HANDS OFF CUBA, VENEZUELA, NICARAGUA AND LATIN AMERICA Rally at Town Hall 10am. Saturday 3 October 2026 The United National Anti-War Coalition in the USA has called for a day of action for Saturday October 3, in the defence of the sovereignty of Latin America, in particular Cuba and Venezuela. President Nicolas Maduro and his wife first Lady Cilia Flores also a member of the Venezuelan National Assembly, have been imprisoned in the notorious Federal Prison in Brooklyn for eight months, awaiting trial on trumped up charges of drug trafficking. The kidnapping of the leaders of a foreign country occurred on January 3 this year when the US military illegally attacked Venezuela, killed over 100 people and 30 Cuban security guards, protecting President Maduro. Further Cilia Flores was injured during the January 3 attack. She is suffering from a serious heart condition and deteriorating health and needs full medical attention.
