Palestinian resistance forces killed five Israeli soldiers and wounded 15 others in a complex ambush in southern Gaza, amid escalating operations in both Khan Yunis and Jabaliya.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces killed at least 86 Palestinians in the Strip, including many aid seekers.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has killed 56,077 and injured 131,848 others, the majority of whom are women and children, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.

Israeli Defense Minister Laments Loss of Soldiers in Khan Yunis Ambush
ISRAELI MEDIA: Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz described the loss of the officer and six soldiers in Khan Yunis as “painful,” emphasizing that they “were killed defending Israel and while seeking to bring back the kidnapped.”
Israeli Army Radio confirmed that identifying the fallen soldiers in the Khan Yunis ambush took several hours due to the burning of the armored personnel carrier (APC) they were in. Rescue teams were reportedly unable to extinguish the fire on site and only managed to do so after towing the APC back to Israel.
The Israeli occupation army had earlier confirmed the deaths of an officer and six soldiers in a resistance ambush in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip.

ISRAELI MEDIA (Cited in Quds News): The Israeli occupation army has officially announced the killing of 7 soldiers and the wounding of 16 others from the 605th Combat Engineering Battalion in a resistance ambush in Khan Yunis.
The Israeli occupation army announced that the seven soldiers were completely burned after an explosive device detonated a ‘Puma’ engineering armored personnel carrier in Khan Yunis. The army described the evacuation process from the scene as difficult.

Trump’s Ceasefire Demand to Netanyahu Reportedly Tense
ISRAELI MEDIA: Jerusalem Post, citing an informed source, revealed that the conversation between US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding a ceasefire with Iran was difficult.
The source stated that Trump raised his voice during the phone call with Netanyahu, demanding he halt the attack on Iran.
The source added to the newspaper that Trump was agitated and asked Netanyahu to “stop the attack immediately.” Reportedly, Netanyahu was unable to speak, only expressing his gratitude to the US President.

15 Palestinians Killed Since Dawn Amidst Intense Israeli Strikes and Reports of Civilian Casualties
PALESTINIAN MEDIA: Fifteen Palestinians, including children, have been killed and dozens injured in Israeli bombardments across the Gaza Strip since early Wednesday morning, according to hospital sources in Gaza.
Shuja’iyya Neighborhood: Israeli aircraft struck tents housing displaced persons in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, eastern Gaza City, resulting in several fatalities and injuries. Separately, an earlier Israeli airstrike on Al-Mansoura Street in the same neighborhood killed three Palestinians and injured others.
Northern Nuseirat Camp: An Israeli airstrike on a home in the Al-Mufti area, north of Nuseirat camp in central Gaza, left a number of people injured. Another strike targeted the Shahada family home on Abu Sitta Street, north of Nuseirat camp, also causing several injuries.
Deir al-Balah: Five citizens, including children, were killed and others injured when occupation aircraft bombed a house near Al-Salam Mosque.
Central Gaza: One citizen was killed and others injured after Israeli occupation forces opened fire on people waiting for aid on Salah al-Din Street.
